Send Bugpot reports to Trello
The Trello integration creates a card on the board you configure, in the list you pick, with the screenshot attached and labels for issue type and priority.
Bugpot × Trello
Drop new reports onto a Trello board as cards, complete with screenshot and environment.
Status pills flow both ways.
How the sync works
Two-way sync, not a fire-and-forget webhook
Bugpot writes the report into Trello and then watches for changes coming back — status, comments and closes — so the two systems stay in step without anyone re-typing anything.
Outbound
Bugpot → Trello
Reports become cards on the board and list you pick, with the annotated screenshot as an attachment.
Inbound
Trello → Bugpot
Moving the card between lists updates the Bugpot report; comments sync both ways.
Field map
What lands where
Every Bugpot field has a home in Trello. The defaults are sensible; you can remap any of them from the workspace settings if your setup names things differently.
| Bugpot field | Trello field |
|---|---|
| Title | Task name |
| Description | Task description |
| Reporter name + email | Task description (attributed at top) |
| Environment block | Task description (as an environment section) |
| Annotated screenshot | Attachment (PNG) |
| Priority | Priority / label |
| Status | Column / stage |
| Assignee | Assignee |
Setup
Five steps, about five minutes
The whole thing runs through OAuth — you don’t paste tokens, and Bugpot only requests the scopes it needs to create issues and read status changes.
In Bugpot, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect Trello.
Authorise Bugpot via OAuth and choose the board that receives new tasks.
Map Bugpot statuses to columns or stages in Trello.
Decide whether comments in Trello post back into the Bugpot thread — on by default.
Send a test report and check the task appears with the screenshot attached.
